A scene of a girl by a river with a tree spirit and birds. Overly Kiwiana as it was an entry for the front cover of our phone directory. Of course I didn't win, and in the charitable art auction this piece received only one bid - my mother, buying it for a gift for my grandmother. And such is my artistic career!
Actually it is my second auction... remember how our works from art class were sold at intermediate? My ego is quite able to handle the blow - I've set my goal in life to be a truly promising failure so anything resembling a success is actually a disappointment for me.
Incidentally, thank you for the comment! I think this is the first I have ever received from you.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!

Ouch, that auction must have been a kick to the ego... but at least you've had art in an auction?
